From 1976 to 1979, Editions Lug brought Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian to French readers in Une Aventure de Conan, a nine-issue series that collected Marvel Comics' celebrated Conan stories. Anchored by the writing of Roy Thomas and Robert E. Howard himself, with translations by Claude-Jacques Legrand, the series showcased the dynamic artwork of John Buscema, Gil Kane, and Neal Adams.
