About the series
In this short-lived 1992-1993 DC series, writer Al Gordon and artist Joe Phillips spotlighted Timber Wolf, a fan-favorite Legion of Super-Heroes member, in his own solo adventure. The five-issue run follows the feral hero as he navigates a gritty, near-future Earth alongside allies like Thrust, Aria Campbell, and the mysterious Captain Flag. A departure from the bright optimism of the Legion, this series offers a darker, more personal look at Brin Londo's struggle with his animalistic nature and his place in a world that fears him.
