About the series
Three Nurses (1963–1964) from Charlton Comics follows the professional and personal lives of three young women working in a hospital. Scripted primarily by Joe Gill, with art by Norman Nodel, Bill Fraccio, and Charles Nicholas, the series offered a lighthearted, career-focused look at nursing during the early 1960s. Though brief at just six issues, it stands as a modest but sincere example of Charlton's efforts to tap into the then-popular genre of female-led workplace comics.
