This January 1964 Charlton title puts nurse Anne Allen R.N. front and center in a genuinely tense cover moment — penciled by Pat Masulli and inked by Dick Giordano — as she urgently pulls a young man away from a burning, smoke-engulfed car, her speech bubble making clear she's racing against the threat of a gasoline explosion. The drama is immediate and visceral, with the orange flames and billowing dark smoke filling the background while the two figures strain against each other in the foreground. Beyond the lead story "The Faith Healer," the issue also promises tales featuring Nancy White, Visiting Nurse, in "Wonder Cure" and student nurse Lee Barry in "White Lies," with interior work by writer Joe Gill and the art team of Charles Nicholas and Vince Alascia.
