Three Nurses #21
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis Charlton romance-drama from 1963 packs three storylines onto one vivid cover by Dick Giordano: in the foreground, nurse Anne Allen shares a tender kiss with a dark-haired man in the "Dream Man" vignette, while behind them a blonde nurse — Nancy White of "Men and Beasts" — fends off a threatening figure, and at the bottom a third nurse leans attentively over a bedridden patient. Speech balloons crackle with tension ("Stop it, Chris! Dr. Evans is the only man who can save you!"), giving the whole composition an appealing soap-opera energy. Rounding out the issue is "Color Her White," a Lee Barry story written by Joe Gill with art by Bill Fraccio and inks by Tony Tallarico — three tales of medical life and romantic peril for twelve cents.
