The Inhumans

Marvel’s The Inhumans (1975–1977) gave the royal family of Attilan—Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, and Gorgon—their own 12-issue series, expanding the mythos Jack Kirby first seeded in Fantastic Four. Doug Moench and Kirby wrote the run, with George Pérez, Gil Kane, and Keith Pollard among the artists who brought the silent king’s struggle and his people’s isolation to vivid life.
