About the series
Based on the popular film and TV Western, Dell's The Cisco Kid ran for 40 issues from 1951 to 1958, chronicling the adventures of the charming, Robin Hood-like caballero. The series was most frequently written by George Haas and illustrated by Bob Jenney and Alberto Giolitti, often incorporating photographic covers. A staple of Dell’s vast line of licensed comics, it brought the character’s signature blend of humor and heroics to a new generation of readers.
