About the series
A short-lived British reprint series from Egmont UK, Superman Spectacular ran for just two issues in 1982, collecting classic Superman tales for a UK audience. The stories were curated by writers Bob Rozakis, Cary Bates, and Paul Kupperberg, with artwork from Adrian Gonzales and Alex Saviuk, among others. Though brief, it represents a snapshot of how DC's Man of Steel was packaged for international readers during the early 1980s.
