About the series
Following her introduction in Action Comics and The Daring New Adventures of Supergirl, Kara Zor-El earned her own solo title from DC in 1983. This 10-issue series, primarily written by Paul Kupperberg with art by Carmine Infantino and Eduardo Barreto, gave the Maid of Might a space to define her own heroic identity beyond her famous cousin's shadow. It remains a key chapter in the character's Bronze Age history, showcasing her growth as a standalone hero.
