Elaine Lee and Mike Kaluta brought their acclaimed stage play to comics with this 1990–1991 Dark Horse miniseries, a vibrant, sprawling space opera that follows the intergalactic adventures of actress-turned-fugitive Galatia 9. Kaluta’s lush, detailed art and Lee’s witty, densely layered script created a visually stunning and narratively rich universe, blending theatrical flair with cosmic intrigue.
