Elaine Lee and Mike Kaluta's Starstruck: The Expanding Universe continues with this 64-page fourth volume from Dark Horse, and the cover alone radiates the series' wonderfully offbeat charm. Kaluta's detailed linework presents a towering green-camouflaged figure seen from behind, adorned with colorful beads and carrying a chainsaw, while a group of uniformed young scouts — red-hatted and earnest — cluster nearby with a box of Mint Cookies. It's a delightfully surreal tableau that captures exactly why this series has such a devoted following, and the bonus Dark Horse trading cards inside make it an especially satisfying package.
