Marv Wolfman’s Night Force returned to DC for a 12-issue run in the mid-1990s, a supernatural series centered on a covert team dealing with the occult and psychic threats. Wolfman, the writer most associated with the series, was joined by artists including Matthew Dow Smith, Brent Anderson, and Shawn Martinbrough, whose moody visuals defined the book’s shadowy tone.
