About the series
Moon Mullins, a short-lived comic from St. John Publishing, ran for just two issues starting in 1949. Artist Joe Beck brought the series to life, adapting the classic newspaper strip character into this standalone comic format. Though brief, it represents an early attempt to translate a popular daily strip into the comic book medium.
