Moon Mullins #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis anthology issue features three stories: "Kayo" by Frank Willard, where Kayo faces a ghost in a bathroom that causes comedic chaos; "Trouble in Double," in which Moon and Kayo encounter a wanted criminal named Perley Gates and become involved in a pursuit by police; and "Kitty Higgins," where Kitty's idea to catch a mouse ends up saving money that she must return to a store after the mouse is finally caught.
When Red Herring and Flash Smith spot a wanted poster for bank robber and murderer Perley Gates, they figure the safest hiding place in town would be the police station itself—and they're determined to catch him there. But their wild scheme to report the crime takes a chaotic turn when they steal a police motorcycle and barrel straight into the cops' roadblock, landing them in hot water with Officer Murphy and the police chief. As Red and Flash scramble to prove they've found the fugitive, they discover nothing's quite as straightforward as it seemed.
