Monster Menace
Marvel · 1993–1994 · 4 issues
About the series
From 1993 to 1994, Marvel revived its Atlas-era monster comics with Monster Menace, a four-issue series that reprinted classic 1950s and early-1960s short stories. Each issue gathered tales from the legendary creative teams of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, as well as Larry Lieber and Steve Ditko, showcasing the wild, imaginative creatures and twist-ending narratives that laid the groundwork for Marvel's later superhero universe. This series offers a compact, affectionate look at the pre-superhero monster craze that defined Marvel's earliest horror and sci-fi output.
