During its 1990–1994 run, DC’s Justice League Quarterly offered an oversized, anthology-style companion to the main Justice League titles, often spotlighting lesser-used team members like Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, and Fire. Writers Mark Waid, Keith Giffen, and Michael Jan Friedman, alongside artists such as Rod Whigham, Eduardo Barreto, and Giffen himself, crafted standalone stories that ranged from character-driven adventures to cosmic threats.
