Green Hornet Comics

Over the course of six issues between 1940 and 1941, Temerson, Helnit, and Continental brought the radio hero The Green Hornet to comics, with writer Fran Striker and the Bert Whitman Associates art studio shaping the masked vigilante's early printed adventures. The series followed newspaper publisher Britt Reid and his partner Kato as they fought crime in the guise of the Green Hornet, joined by secretary Lenore Case. Though brief, this run captured the pulp energy of the era and helped cement the character's dual identity and loyal supporting cast for generations of fans.
