About the series
From 1977 to 1978, Marvel Comics brought the zany Hanna-Barbera cartoon to the printed page in this six-issue series. Scripted primarily by Mark Evanier with art by Sal Buscema and Paul Norris, the book follows the adventures of Big City's canine crimefighter Dynomutt and his straight-laced partner, the Blue Falcon. Along for the ride are Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and Daphne Blake, blending slapstick superheroics with the familiar Mystery Inc. gang. It's a brisk, fun snapshot of the late-70s Marvel/Hanna-Barbera partnership, capturing the era's goofy charm.
