About the series
In the mid-1970s, Marvel UK unleashed Dracula Lives, a sprawling 87-issue horror anthology that brought the Lord of Vampires to the forefront of British newsstands. Written primarily by Marv Wolfman and Gary Friedrich, and illustrated by the moody pencils of Gene Colan and Gil Kane, the series expanded the Tomb of Dracula mythos with new allies and enemies like Rachel Van Helsing, Quincy Harker, and the nascent vampire hunter Blade.
