Three Who Waited
7 pp · horror-suspense

Abel Starkland, a ruthless collector obsessed with acquiring bronze objects, outbids three mysterious men at an auction for a haunted bronze plaque—unaware that his competitors have been waiting centuries to reclaim it. When the three reveal the plaque's dark history and the curse that follows its ownership, Starkland dismisses their warnings as madness, but their persistence suggests the danger may be all too real. As supernatural forces close in, Starkland discovers that some acquisitions come with a price far higher than any auction price.
