This Magazine Is Haunted #20 (1954)

An anthology issue containing at least two stories: "The Lotus Eaters," in which an expedition encounters natives on a strange island who drug and consume their victims; the explorers discover the lotus-eaters are reanimated dead forced into a time-trap that must be broken to release the treasure. The second story involves a man with a ferry ticket pursued through a city and onto a ferry, where supernatural forces and a ferryman named Charon transport him across the River Styx; Victor Manson battles a gate-keeper monster and joins an army of dead souls to escape the river's curse, ultimately fighting his way to freedom before being claimed by death.
