This Magazine Is Haunted #21 (1954)

This anthology issue contains at least two stories. In the first story, a policeman encounters a grotesque plaster devil monster in a bottomless pool, which he attempts to destroy after it kills him. In the second story, a town's mayor orders the destruction of an ancient stone inscription to break a curse placed by the Duke of Allister two centuries ago, which grants eternal life and youth to whoever drinks from a mysterious casket; when the townspeople attempt to deface the inscription, the Duke's undead hands emerge and kill them, ultimately cursing the entire town with death and terror that spreads like wildfire through the streets.
