When Plastic Man and his partner Woozy stumble upon a stack of suspiciously flawless ten-dollar bills, they soon find themselves entangled in a web of deception after encountering the enigmatic Pierre Cognac, a man with a hidden past and a secret engraving process. As the F.B.I. investigates a growing tide of counterfeit money, Plastic Man races to uncover the truth behind the mysterious plates—only to discover that the real mastermind may be closer than he thinks.
Radio Patrolman Dan Ryan takes the stand in the trial of big-time crook Big Ed Shansky, recounting how he witnessed the murder of Thomas Gurn and pursued Shansky through the streets of Lenner City—only to be thwarted by a lack of evidence and a corrupt lawyer’s tactics. As the courtroom drama unfolds, Ryan’s determination is tested when Shansky’s defense mocks his testimony and the system seems rigged against justice.
