In "The Air Circus," Jo, a self-proclaimed stunt pilot with a shaky reputation, is reluctantly dragged to an air show by Effy and Mrs. Mahoulan, who don’t believe his boasts. When the glamorous flyer Trixie Moran agrees to give him a ride in her plane, Jo’s bravado quickly turns to panic as he’s forced to face his fear of flying—much to the amusement of the crowd.
