Myra plans to get ahead in her career as a television director/producer and doesn't want to become a household drudge like her married sister. She dates a couple of men, but has no intention of committing when they get serious. Then she falls in love with the son of a co-worker, but the tables are turned when he is the one who doesn't want to get serious. She starts seeing her sister's marriage in a new light and wonders if she will ever get another chance at love.
