While walking to school in a thunderstorm, Tommy decides to uses his clock of the ages to send him back to Revolutionary times where hopefully there is a sunny day, and meets up with inventor, Ben Franklin. He not only is involved in Franklin's invention of the washing machine, but also fights the British at Breed's (Bunker) Hill.
