The X-Men are vacationing in Kentucky when they get word that the prison plane carrying Reverend William Stryker has gone down killing everyone on board and someone is blaming the X-Men for the deed. In reality, Lady Deathstrike rescues Stryker and fakes the crash to implicate the X-Men. During their investigation, the Team X-Treme is taken down by a group of well armed mystery men. Stryker and Deathstrike show up in Chicago to kidnap Kitty Pryde.
