The Brood Empress sends her Firstborn assassins to Earth to destroy a woman implanted with a Brood Queen who is resisting the change. The X-Men come to the rescue as the woman happens to be the wife of a pastor who is a strong mutant's rights activist. Bishop speculates that Hannah's resistance may usher in a new evolutionary phase of the Brood. Wolverine just wants to kill her and all like her.
