Zaladane turns Sauron into his human form of Karl Lykos and sends him to New York. Lykos sucks mutant energy from Wolverine and transforms back into Sauron after which he tangles with the X-Men. Sauron captures Storm and returns to the Savage Land. The X-Men give chase but find that Storm has fallen under Sauron's hypnotic control and she attacks her former teammates.
