History

X-Men (Vol. 6) #6 was written by Gerry Duggan with interior art and cover by Pepe Larraz, colors by Marte Gracia, and letters by VC's Clayton Cowles — the same core team that launched the volume at the 2021 Hellfire Gala. Editor Jordan White shepherded the book under editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski. The issue shipped January 5, 2022, making it a 2022 cover-date release (March 2022) and the first issue of the series to carry the 'Reign of X' banner into what reviews at the time called a second-arc pivot.
