The issue was written and penciled by Kieron Dwyer — credited by contemporary commentary as a one-time stepson of John Byrne and already familiar to X-readers from supplemental pages he contributed to Classic X-Men — with inks by Al Milgrom, colors by Mike Rockwitz, lettering by Jim Novak, and editing by Bob Harras under editor-in-chief Tom DeFalco.
