The issue contains three stories. "Bloody Buzzard Gulch" depicts a showdown where Wyatt Earp saves the day after outlaws take a lawman's badge and guns. "The Reformer" features Wyatt Earp confronting an itinerant preacher whose staunch anti-gun sermons have influenced the townspeople of Helldorado to disarm, creating danger for law enforcement. "The Silence of Fear" shows Wyatt Earp investigating extortion victims of Harold Coster who refuse to speak out of fear, and Earp working to stop Coster's criminal operation despite Mayor Kerrigan's attempts to have him removed from his position.
