Wyatt Earp must prevent a young gunslinger named Johnny from being manipulated by the outlaw King Fisher, who has befriended the boy and plans to use him as bait to lure Earp into a trap. When Fisher's scheme is discovered, Earp takes Johnny away from the danger, but the boy remains conflicted about his dangerous new friend. The story culminates in a confrontation where Earp must outwit Fisher and his gang, including the duplicitous Cansel and Mike Sligo, to protect Johnny and bring the outlaws to justice.
