"The Downfall of Wyatt Earp" follows a young outlaw named Cluett who is captured and jailed by Wyatt Earp after the sheriff of Henlone Springs warns Earp about Cluett's involvement in bank robberies with the Jarvis Boys gang. When Cluett escapes jail and rejoins the outlaws, Earp pursues them relentlessly, ultimately capturing Cluett again and taking him to the county seat. The story concludes with Cluett being given three days with Wyatt in Yuma, after which he escapes and becomes a rancher near Malpais, eventually taking the name Wyatt and settling into an honest life with his family.
