This issue contains two stories. "The Miracle at Drover's Pass" involves Karl Evers, a railroad man who brings the railroad to Drover's Pass and earns the town's celebration, though locals suspect his true motives involve taking property cheaply from residents. In the second story, Hiram Judson proposes to Edna Hart and must retrieve a mortgage payment from a stagecoach, but is robbed by a bandit; Wyatt Earp pursues and recovers the money, allowing Judson to save his farm and marry Edna.
