As he unleashes strange alien creatures for his film, the criminals break free and seize control of the alien tech, turning chaos into their own scheme. The World's Finest team must intervene before the alien's stunt goes too far — and the filmmaker learns a hard lesson about meddling with Earth's heroes.
In "The Super-Mystery of Metropolis!", Superman finds himself at odds with Thad Linnis, a man who claims to know his secret identity—forcing the Man of Steel to leave Metropolis. As he confides in Batman and Robin, Superman recounts his early days in Smallville, unraveling a mystery that connects his past to a boy he once knew, only to discover the truth may be far more personal than he ever imagined.
When Superman brings a mysterious space creature back to Earth, it quickly becomes a distraction—unintentionally complicating Batman and Robin’s mission to stop the notorious criminal gang The Wreckers. The small alien, far from harmless, stirs up chaos in ways no one expected.
In "The Boy from Outer Space!", a super-powered youth with no memory crash-lands on Earth, quickly earning the nickname Skyboy from Superman, who takes a fatherly interest in him. As the boy begins to bond with the Man of Steel, Batman grows suspicious, finding fingerprint evidence that links Skyboy to a string of high-profile crimes—evidence that becomes even more troubling when Skyboy's memories slowly return, revealing a shocking truth about his origins on the planet Kormo.
When the Duplicate Man uses his ability to split into two identical selves and strike multiple targets at once, even the combined efforts of Gotham’s finest and Metropolis’s might seem powerless. But when Superman and Batman finally confront him, they realize his greatest strength—his ability to recall a captured copy—might be his undoing.
