Diana returns to her house after her adventure in the Underworld. Anann and Bellona, two of the Morrigan, use tears from Medusa‘s head to revivify two of their victims, turning them into the horned god Cernunnos and the monster Minotaur, whom they order to kill Diana. Diana pawns a statue for $10,000 and goes to her friend Brianne and her son Harry, who are hiding out from Brianne‘s husband, and gives them the money. Philippus finds her there and scolds her for going out alone. Suddenly Diana is attacked by Cernunnos and his men, who skewer her through the back with a spear.
