Wonder Woman #27
In "Heart of the Amazon Part Two," Diana confronts a shocking betrayal when a bomb disrupts Etta's brother's wedding, leaving her injured. As Diana rushes to help, she’s ambushed by Dr. Crawford, who steals her DNA in a desperate bid to cure her terminal illness—only to be consumed by the very powers she sought. With the Amazonian warrior’s strength now twisted by desperation, Diana must face a foe who wears her face but not her heart. Written by Shea Fontana and illustrated with striking emotion by Mirka Andolfo, this issue blends intimate drama with high-stakes action, all framed by Jesús Merino’s evocative cover.
