A group of heroes show up to help Wolverine and Captain America take on a gang of Deathlok cyborgs from the future. One of the Deathloks is decapitated and they take the body to the former HAMMER agent who is responsible for building it in the future. Unfortunately, even with his head removed, the Deathlok cyborg is still functional and kills Dr. Heimerdinger. The time conundrum does not delete the Deathloks as the heroes expect but the cyborgs now sport deadly new weapons developed by Tony Stark.
