About the series
In this 2011 Marvel miniseries, writer Frank Tieri pits Wolverine against the monstrous legacy of Hercules, as the mutant finds himself tangled in a deadly modern-day remix of the hero's Twelve Labors. With artists Juan Santacruz and Juan Román Cano Santacruz bringing the clash of eras to life, the story drags Logan into a brutal contest set by King Eurytheus, forcing him to battle creatures and foes from the hero's mythic past. It's a fun, bloody fusion of ancient legend and Marvel's mutant world, giving the feral X-Man a chance to prove his mettle against challenges that would break a god.
