Wolverine by Daniel Way: The Complete Collection #1
In "Down the Road," Daniel Way and Bart Sears deliver a tense, grounded tale of survival and mystery as Sasquatch, battered from a brutal clash with Sabretooth, finds himself mistaken for a monster by a coast guard soldier. With the soldier’s help, Sasquatch recounts a chilling pursuit—tracking Sabretooth, who’s been driving a Wendigo into a frenzy, turning it into a killer that’s terrorizing the isolated Isle Dupree. Joe Quesada’s striking cover captures the story’s raw, uneasy atmosphere, while the interior art by Sears and Pennington brings the haunting isolation and physical toll of the journey to life.
