Wolverine has returned from Hell and now inhabits his mortal body but, unfortunately, it is already being possessed by a horde of demons. With the demons still in primary control, Wolverine lashes out and badly injures Colossus. The X-Men stand by while Hellstorm and the Ghost Riders try to resolve the situation. When their efforts prove futile, Cyclops gives the order for the X-Men to kill Wolverine.
