Wolverine, Karma and Target return to Madripoor to get to the bottom of the mystery of the Master Form. Wolverine once again battles the Pinocchio Robot but finds that its human brain is that of Target’s long-lost cousin Rick. Karma has it out with her uncle, Coy, who escapes death but is held responsible by Prince Baran for all the deaths and damage. Broker, the architect of the whole Lazarus Project, escapes. The Master Form remains untouched on Rumika.
