In "T.N.T. for Tokyo," Captain Smith joins Commander Rogers on a daring mission from a plane-carrying submarine, parachuting 100 miles off the Japanese coast to infiltrate enemy territory. There, he teams up with the resourceful Stella Ruben on a high-stakes mission to capture the Japanese Minister of War. Art by Rudy Palais with inks by Max Elkan bring the wartime adventure to life, while Gene Fawcette’s cover captures the tension of the mission in bold, dynamic lines.

Suicide Smith returns to active duty in the U.S. Army Air Corps after time with the R.A.F., and is assigned to Alexander Field near San Francisco—where he reunites with fellow pilot Tex Houston and tangles with the hotheaded Ace Andrews. When an F.B.I. agent brings urgent news of a mysterious injured girl asking for him in a San Francisco hospital, Smith rushes to find Hinda, a secret service operative who was kidnapped and tortured, barely able to warn him of a Japanese plot before losing consciousness. With a narrow window before disaster strikes, Smith must race against time to stop a deadly attack on the Golden Gate Bridge.
