In "Strani approdi," Planetary investigates the wreckage of a Hark building when they witness Jim Wilder vanish after touching a lightning-bolt-shaped rock—only to return transformed by a sentient interdimensional ship. The ancient vessel, stranded on Earth for eons, seeks Wilder’s aid in finding six other superhumans to help it return home, and with Planetary’s guidance, Wilder begins a quest across realities to assemble the crew.

In "Morte e promesse infrante prima parte," the Gen 13 kids are thrust into a fierce confrontation with the Coda Sisterhood, who have come to capture Alex Fairchild. Their battle is cut short when the enigmatic and powerful Russell Tindalos arrives, claiming he means to help—though his intentions remain unclear. As tension mounts, Sigma warns Lynch that Caitlin is in danger, stalked by Tindalos, whose obsession with her threatens to unravel everything.
