"Comrades for a Lone Wolf" follows Barney Gordon, a former slum orphan with no trust in authority, as he joins the Army hoping to prove he can live for himself rather than alone. During a mission, Barney's gun goes missing, and he suspects fellow soldier Dallas of deliberately sabotaging him out of jealousy. When Dallas claims it was an accident, tensions escalate as the men prepare for a dangerous radio operation in the woods where the enemy is suspected to be laying an ambush. As the squad moves to set up their position, Dallas and Barney's conflict threatens the success of the mission and their survival.
