Pluto’s trying to make up for a big mistake—after a burglar slipped into Mickey’s house while he was away, the dog’s desperate to prove he was a hero. When he picks a fight with a group of large cats, Mickey’s not sure whether to be proud or worried.
Donald Duck takes on a hedge-clipping job for a man who won’t pay him two bucks, so he offers to do a fancy job for just one. With a bit of mischievous flair, Donald clips the hedge into the shape of the word "Robber," leaving the man stunned.
When Donald Duck notices his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie slipping into a small tent with other children, he follows them—and discovers a hidden trap door in the grass, leading down into an underground passage.
Donald Duck turns his lunch wagon into a rolling cart, enlisting Huey to pull it behind a car as he races through the streets to catch the morning rush and snag customers.
