Only Veronica Lodge could win a million dollars on a game show and respond with a blasé "Hmm… that's nice" while casually chatting on her cell phone — and that's exactly the delightful scene Dan Parent and Jon D'Agostino put on the cover of this December 2000 issue. An enthusiastic game show host gestures toward her beneath the studio spotlights as a cheering crowd looks on, but Riverdale's wealthiest socialite barely bats an eye at the windfall. It's a perfectly charming snapshot of Veronica at her most wonderfully unimpressed, making this a fun pick for any Archie Comics fan.
