Part two of "Starlight Drive" arrives in this November 1996 entry in DC's Helix imprint, with a cover by Mike Kaluta that crackles with kinetic energy. A young man in a flowing orange cloak lunges forward, staff and weapon in hand, surrounded by a horde of gnarly creature-like figures with glowing green markings — all set against an elaborate, dreamlike cityscape in the background. With Lucius Shepard writing and Al Davison on interior art, this series wears its ambition openly, and Kaluta's cover art makes a compelling case for diving right in.
