Venom / Deadpool: What If? #1
In *Venom / Deadpool: What If? #1*, a wildly alternate Earth 615.9 unfolds where Deadpool is hired by Galactus to stop the Beyonder—now sporting M.O.D.O.K.’s head on his posterior after a cosmic prank. Written by Rick Remender and illustrated by Shawn Moll, with colors by Chris Sotomayor and inks by Mark Irwin, the story kicks off with Deadpool confronting the Beyonder at a wild, booze-fueled party. When Spider-Man crashes the scene in his symbiote suit, the alien costume takes a sudden, bizarre interest in Deadpool’s new look—leaving Peter Parker unexpectedly bare and Deadpool suddenly unstoppable. The cover, by Skottie Young, captures the absurdity perfectly.

Welcome to Earth 615.9--the coolest Marvel Universe. Deadpool is hired by Galactus to kill the Beyonder for playing a practical joke and attaching M.O.D.O.K.'s head to the world eater's butt. DP finds the Beyonder up to his leisure suit in booze and broads and prepares to take his foe down. Unfortunately, he falls under the hypnotic spell of the Beyonder's cosmic jheri curls and ends up joining the fun. When Spider-Man attacks the partying pair, the black symbiotic suit he is wearing takes DP's new hairdo as its host, making 'Pool ultra-powerful (and leaving poor Petey completely naked).
